The Board of Trustees of the Town of Slaughterville is accepting applications for the appointment of Town Clerk.

The town clerk is an elected official; due to the vacancy of this position the Board of Trustees will appoint the best applicant for this position for the remainder of the term ending in April 2027.

The Town Clerk is responsible for a variety of administrative and record-keeping duties, including managing elections, keeping public records, and serving as a crucial point of information on town government, procedures, and access to public records. Compensation for this position is set by town ordinance at $50.00 per meeting attended. The Town Clerk must be a resident of Slaughterville, Oklahoma, as well as a registered voter in Cleveland County, Oklahoma for a minimum of six (6) months.
