HISTORY OF SLAUGHTERVILLE
The 2010 United States Census shows Slaughterville's population is 4,137 with 1,495 households. Slaughterville encompasses 24,960 Acres or approximately thirty-nine square miles in south central Cleveland County. Slaughterville is located southeast of Norman, south of Noble, and north of Lexington. State Highway 77 crosses through the western edge of the town, where the town hall is located. Slaughterville is the third largest city in the county by landmass, preceded only by Norman and south Oklahoma City.
