FOR A REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING
- Call to Order with salute to the flag of the United States and Invocation
- Roll Call, declaration of a quorum being present
- Consideration and action of the Consent Agenda
All matters under Consent Agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. Any item may be taken off the Consent Agenda and heard in regular order at the request of any board member.
- Approval Minutes for 7-20-10 Regular Meeting
- Approval of Claims
- Approval of Financial Reports
- Presentation from representatives from the Southern Cleveland County Historical Society concerning a book chronicling the history of southern Cleveland County called Red Dirt, River and Rails
- Discussion and/or action to help sponsor the book Red Dirt, River and Rails
- Discussion and/or action concerning the FY 2008-2009 Audit
- Discussion and/or action concerning Ordinance No. 12 AN ORDINANCE REPLACING ORDINANCE NO. 12 OF THE CODE OF ORDER OF THE TOWN OF SLAUGHTERVILLE, CLEVELAND COUNTY, OKLAHOMA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF SLAUGHTERVILLE, OKLAHOMA; THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF SLAUGHTERVILLE, OKLAHOMA HEREBY DELETES ALL OF ORDINANCE NO. 12 “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SLAUGHTERVILLE, OKLAHOMA, ESTABLISHING A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR VOLUNTEER FIREMEN OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF SLAUGHTERVILLE, OKLAHOMA AND REPLACES SAME IN ITS ENTIRETY BY ENACTING AND ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE, TO WIT:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SLAUGHTERVILLE, OKLAHOMA, ESTABLISHING A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS
- Discussion and/or action concerning RESOLUTION NO. 111991-10 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR THE BILLING OF FIRE CHARGES FOR SERVICE PROVIDED OUTSIDE THE TOWN LIMITS, SETTING DEADLINES FOR APPEALS, AND ALLOWING FOR INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS OF CHARGES IN HARDSHIP CASES. THIS RESOLUTION SUPERCEDES ALL PREVIOUS RESOLUTIONS IN REGARD TO THIS MATTER.
- Discussion and/or action concerning codification of ordinances
- Discussion and/or action concerning filling the vacant Board of Adjustment position
- Discussion and/or action on appointing one (1) member to the Floodplain Board for a six-year term to fill the expiring term of Mike Kouri
- Discussion and/or action concerning what area the town should pursue next for annexation and squaring boundaries as shown in the Comprehensive Plan
- Discussion and/or action on approval of the Town Administrator attending the Annual Oklahoma Municipal League Preconference and Conference on September 28-30 (Information: registration $250 plus lodging and mileage)
- Executive session to for the purpose of discussing the purchase or appraisal of real property concerning Oklahoma Department of Transportation right-of-way, pursuant to Title 25 O.S. Section 307.B (3)
- Discussion and/or action concerning a counter offer to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for the purchase property from the Town of Slaughterville for right-of-way purposes in the name of the State of Oklahoma
- Report concerning development of a plan for disaster response
- Report on Zoning Compliance Permits and code compliance
- Report on Fire Department runs and grant progress update by Chief Paul Long
- Report by attorney on questions posed at the last meeting concerning a board member serving in two positions on two different boards
- Administrator’s Report
a. Website update information – need new picture of Board of Trustees for website
b. Project Re-Directory
c. Progress report on hiring an office worker
d. Request for input as to whether or not Trustees wish to receive forwarded agendas and/or meeting material that is sent to the Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning Commission
